Shoe and Sex and the City lovers all over the world rejoiced when Sarah Jessica Parker announced her plans to create an accessories line of heels and bags.
While the world has yet to see images of the creations she’s thought up, select new details have emerged about what we can expect. The shoe line, which ranges in color from asparagus, cherry, dove gray to navy, will be sold exclusively at Nordstrom come late January. A breadth of options and styles will be available: high heels, kitten heels, flats, mary jane pumps, and strappy sandals ranging in price from $150 to $400.
As reported, Parker was heavily influenced by ribbons, as growing up she and her sisters had an entire drawer of grosgrain ribbons. Much like the Christian Louboutin red sole, Parker’s shoes will have an indicative sign – a strip of grosgrain ribbon decorating the heel; for flats, the sign will be a tab on the side with the ribbon.
And yes, there’s a Carrie shoe – a T strap.
